chairs
These embroidered chairs by Scandinavian designer, Johan Lindsten of Sweden are wonderfully interesting objects. A fine meld of texture and design, I think they are very seductive objects, in their strangeness. Found here.

Upcoming Craft Shows...
I found out that I got into Pile of Craft today. It was a nice start to my day as I love doing that craft show. It is right near my home, in Baltimore, MD. Everyone is so nice and there are always crowds of delightful shoppers who love to chat and admire things. For more details, visit the Charm City Craft Mafia's website. The show is on Saturday, June 25th.
I will also be selling with Rebe at Art Star Craft Bazaar in Philadelphia on May 14th & 15th. Please do visit us if you are in the in the neighborhood. We would love to see you!

Milk
I often browse Milk Magazine online. A lovely French children's magazine, Milk is filled with inspiring products, good design and interesting activities for families. It is a good resource for makers, as it continually showcases beautiful objects, interiors, and artists from all over the world. The Magazine is a wonderfully curated collection of special objects and design that are meant to inspire play in our everyday lives. A bit like walking through a toy store, Milk Magazine gives you a beautiful taste of childhood.
I like these German shaped cutting board plates called brettchen, from Snug, found here. A nice way inspire playful eating for everyone.
Beautiful family spaces, found here.

Nice pairing, from here.

Farm house & log pile
By Molly Goldstrom.
Look at those pretzels, so good, from here. I like to imagine stranger's Easter filled homes looking like this.
Picture of an Amish farmhouse from here. I like the objects hanging on the wall in this otherwise sparse space.
A picture from today, by Matt. Matt has a way of making ordinary objects special, maybe it's his title pairings or the way something seems so worthy of sharing. I like the small things that seem to catch his attention. They are things I think I would often overlook. Maybe this is why he is my favorite person to take walks with.
Collection of piles, by Sabine Timm.

storytelling
I also found this via vintage for kids: A collection of photographs from wonderful Japanese blog, dacafe, captures story telling through carefully shaped and collected moments.
knitscapes
Knit works, found here and here via a wonderful French blog called vintage for kids. The knit garden in a book is by Jan Messent and the other knit works are featured in Collins Complete Book of Needlecraft.

Mom's work in our stairway and a dear clothesline, an intimate portrait of strangers.
By Matt. The pillows look like lovers that are holding each other tight.
